How Long With The Battery Last?
We’ve matched the capacity of our batteries with a standard 0.5 mL vape tank. This means a single charge provides enough energy to vaporize the entire contents of our replaceable vape carts. Factors like ambient temperature, the voltage setting, and the duration of each inhalation can affect the battery life.
Our batteries are made with lithium-ion chemistry which is considered the best of the best for small electronic devices. They provide high energy output and can endure hundreds of recharge cycles with minimal capacity loss.
You can recharge this battery in full about 300 times with only a 20% loss in total capacity. Since a single charge lasts several days for even the most voracious vaper, this battery pack will remain viable for many years.
Does This Battery Feature An Automatic Cut-Off?
Yes. We’ve programmed our batteries to shut off automatically after 10 seconds. This ensures the heating element doesn’t break and protects the battery from overheating. Once the shutoff is engaged, it takes three seconds before you can take another inhale.
Can I Use Other Vape Cartridges With The Area 52 Battery?
Yes. Our batteries are designed to fit any 510 threaded vape cartridges. This is the industry-standard threading for most manufacturers on the market today.
While the battery output is optimized for our delta 8 THC cartridges, you can use any carts so long as it uses the 510 thread size.
Can I Use Vape Oils With This Battery?
Technically, yes — any 510 threaded vape attachment will work with this battery. The voltage of our batteries is optimized for high-viscosity liquids, such s delta 8 THC distillates, CBD concentrates, waxes, or other cannabinoid extracts.
You can still use low viscosity fluids, like E-liquids, but you may need to play around with the temperature settings and draw length a little bit to get the balance just right. We recommend starting at the low-temperature setting and increase slowly to avoid burning the vape juice.
What Do The LED Lights on the Device Indicate?
The LED lighting surrounding the single button on the device communicates a few different messages.
When unlocking the device, the LED will flash 5 times to indicate the device is turned on.
When charging the device, the light will flash green. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will remain a consistent green color.
The lights will also change according to the temperature you have set:
- Blue Lighting — Indicates the lowest temperature mode (2.8v)
- Yellow Lighting — Indicates the medium temperature mode (3.2v)
- Green Lighting — Indicates the highest temperature mode (3.6v)
When you draw on the device, the lights will activate to show you the device is engaged and the heating element is active.
How Can I Recharge My Vape Battery?
To recharge the device you’ll need to screw on the included USB charging harness and plug it into any USB port. You can use a computer or other USB charging device.
It takes roughly 15 minutes to charge the device to 80% capacity, and 30 minutes to charge the device to 100%.
The battery will automatically stop charging once it’s reached max capacity.
