Mars is the only (known) planet inhabited solely by robots. These gummies won’t turn you into a martian robot, but they might make you feel like one.
Most energy boosters make us feel more awake, but very few make us more efficient.
Think of your brain like the CPU of a computer. Cannabinoids don’t help you overclock your internal CPU, potentially causing it to burn out — instead, they serve to clear your internal RAM. Simply put; you feel more clear-headed, productive, and better-equipped for completing complex tasks.
Cannabinoids & Focus: Work Smarter, Not Harder
The effects of productivity-enhancing cannabinoids like CBG feel inherently different from conventional energy supplements.
Most energy-boosting supplements make you feel more awake but may also intensify chaotic and disordered thinking. Ultimately this makes it harder to think conceptually.
Conceptual thinking is the practice of connecting abstract, disparate ideas to deepen understanding and form new ideas entirely.
Most people who take energy supplements end up diving into “busy work,” — which happens when you’re actively doing something yet accomplish very little.
What’s Inside Area 52 CBG Mars Gummies?
Our goal is to keep our formulas simple, but in order to get the balance right for this blend, we’ve combined a total of five key ingredients:
CBG stands for cannabigerol. It’s often considered the “mother of all cannabinoids” because it’s used as the starting material for producing CBD, CBC, and THC within the cannabis plant.
CBG has a particularly strong “centering” action. It has a tendency of bringing your sphere of awareness right between the eyes, front and center.
You feel alert (but not stimulated), focused, and consciously aware of what’s going on around you.
CBD is usually positioned as the chief ingredient in most formulas, but here it takes on a more supportive role.
The calming action of CBD helps reduce the effects of overstimulation from our organic green tea extract — which is a powerful, moving force within the blend. CBD reduces muscle contractions and jitteriness that develop as a byproduct of green tea without interfering with its benefits.
We tested the formula with and without CBD, and there was no contest — the CBD blend was much more centered and long-lasting than the non-CBD blend — so it’s here to stay.
3. Green Tea Extract
All tea comes from the same source — black, green, oolong, and white tea are derived from Camellia sinensis.
The “green” in green tea refers to how the plant was processed. If steamed or roasted immediately after harvest, it’s called green tea. This minimally processed form has the highest concentration of caffeine and antioxidants.
We’ve added a healthy dose of 100 mg green tea extract, which works out to around 8–12 mg of caffeine.
L-theanine is a bit of a double-agent. It’s just as useful in energy blends as it is in sleep blends.
This compound targets a neurotransmitter called GABA — which serves as a brake pedal for the brain. When we start to feel anxious, GABA is responsible for taking action to slow us down and gather our thoughts.
During the day, GABA helps cut out chaotic thought tangents that pull us away from the task at hand.
This non-sedating, but highly relaxing green tea derivative may help us remain on task, focused, and centered throughout the day.
5. Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin — which means we’re unable to make enough of it ourselves; we need to get it from our diet.
This important vitamin does a lot for us — it’s required for the production of blood and immune cells, DNA replication, and both the production and breakdown of key neurotransmitters.
B12 has a uniquely energizing effect in people who are deficient — which is surprisingly common in modern society. Experts believe this effect comes from the role of B12 in red blood cell production. We need red blood cells to distribute oxygen around the body. If we don’t have enough, we reach fatigue much more quickly.
