What is HHC Hemp Flower?
HHC stands for hexahydrocannabinol. It’s a naturally-occurring cannabinoid present in hemp with a similar effect profile to delta 8 THC (but stronger).
When cannabis resin is exposed to light and oxygen, a small percentage is converted to HHC.Â

The primary ingredient in these pre-rolls is HHC, but it’s far from the only active constituent.

We love keeping some of these handy pre-rolls around the office for a celebratory puff every now and then, but there are definitely some cases where users should NOT use this product.

How Long Do The Effects of HHC Last?
HHC kicks in quickly (a few seconds to a few minutes) and reaches peak effects after about 20 minutes. The effects then gradually taper off over the course of about 3 hours.
In total, the effects of HHC can last between 3 and 6 hours. Some sensitive individuals report effects lasting up to 8 hours, but this is rare.
If using HHC for the first time, it’s wise to start with a low dose and avoid driving for the rest of the day. Only increase the dose after you’re familiar with how HHC reacts with your body.
Are HHC Pre-Rolls Legal?
Hemp-derived HHC is not listed as a restricted substance by the US government and is legal as per the 2018 Farm Bill. All of our HHC products contain less than the federal limit of 0.3% delta-9 THC.
However, there are a handful of states that have imposed bans specifically blocking the sale of HHC. We will not ship our pre-rolls to Colorado, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont, or ​​Idaho.
HHC is legal in a few states that ban delta 8 THC, including Minnesota, Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, and Washington.

Will HHC Show Up On A Drug Test?
Yes, HHC carries a moderate risk of showing up as “THC” on a drug test.
Only high-performance assays can distinguish the difference between HHC and THC — so if you have a drug test coming up, it’s wise to avoid using cannabis products of any kind.
HHC is removed from the body in as little as 2-days for infrequent users, but daily users may test positive up to a week after ceasing use. Drinking plenty of fluids, exercising, and taking detox supplements may help speed up the process of elimination by a day or two.
Does Area 52 Provide Third-Party Testing?

Do HHC Pre-Rolls Contain THC?
Our pre-rolls are made using full-spectrum hemp — which naturally contains between 0.01% and 0.3% THC. This quantity is well within the limitations of the law and isn’t high enough to produce noticeable effects.
